La formation a \u00e9t\u00e9 dispens\u00e9e par un agronome colombien de renom, Jairo Restrepo, <a href=\"http:\/\/lamierdadevaca.com\/web\/jairo-restrepo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jairo Restrepo<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2807\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2807\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2807\" src=\"http:\/\/afsafrica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/jairoarticle-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" hspace=\"40\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2807\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>Jairo Restrepo montre comment fabriquer du charbon de bois bio-activ\u00e9<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Jairo est un activiste dans le domaine de la souverainet\u00e9 alimentaire et de l&rsquo;agriculture durable. Il a une approche pratique dans sa formation qui combine les connaissances indig\u00e8nes et scientifiques. <\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Il est l&rsquo;un des principaux enseignants dans le domaine des biofertilisants, des micro-organismes bokashi et de la chromatographie. Il poss\u00e8de \u00e9galement une vaste exp\u00e9rience de la mise en \u0153uvre de ces m\u00e9thodes \u00e0 diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9chelles dans le cadre de son travail de consultant. <\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Il a publi\u00e9 40 articles scientifiques et 14 livres sur l&rsquo;agriculture biologique, a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 de nombreuses conf\u00e9rences sur le th\u00e8me de l&rsquo;agriculture biologique et a travaill\u00e9 avec 37 universit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p align=\"LEFT\">Cette formation intensive de cinq jours a permis aux agriculteurs d&rsquo;acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences pratiques sur la fabrication d&rsquo;engrais biologiques, de charbon de bois bioactiv\u00e9 et sur la chromatographie des sols.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_2833\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-2833\" style=\"width: 287px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2833\" src=\"http:\/\/afsafrica.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/10\/FrancisWereEmboss-287x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"287\" height=\"300\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-2833\" class=\"wp-caption-text\"><strong>  Francis Were, l&rsquo;un des agriculteurs ayant particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la formation<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Francis Were, fonctionnaire \u00e0 la retraite et agriculteur kenyan, a exhort\u00e9 ses coll\u00e8gues agriculteurs \u00e0 participer \u00e0 de telles formations afin de se familiariser avec l&rsquo;agro\u00e9cologie et l&rsquo;agriculture biologique.<\/p>\n<p>Il a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 certains des d\u00e9fis auxquels il est confront\u00e9 dans la culture des l\u00e9gumes traditionnels en \u00e9voquant les accords commerciaux r\u00e9gionaux et leur impact potentiel sur les march\u00e9s locaux.<\/p>\n<p>Il a soulign\u00e9 la question du commerce des semences et s&rsquo;est interrog\u00e9 sur les implications des accords commerciaux r\u00e9gionaux, tels que les accords de partenariat \u00e9conomique entre la Communaut\u00e9 d&rsquo;Afrique de l&rsquo;Est et l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne, pour les petits exploitants agricoles comme lui.<\/p>\n<p>Il a exhort\u00e9 l&rsquo;AFSA \u00e0 contribuer \u00e0 l&rsquo;information des agriculteurs sur ces d\u00e9veloppements commerciaux.<\/p>\n<p>Gloria Swanilayo, une agricultrice impliqu\u00e9e dans l&rsquo;agroforesterie au Ghana, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l&rsquo;un des principaux d\u00e9fis auxquels elle est confront\u00e9e est la gestion des parasites. La formation lui permettra de partager ses connaissances sur la lutte biologique contre les parasites avec ses coll\u00e8gues agriculteurs. <\/p>\n<p>Sur la base du succ\u00e8s de la formation de Thika, l&rsquo;AFSA esp\u00e8re organiser des sessions de formation similaires en Afrique de l&rsquo;Est et de l&rsquo;Ouest.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un groupe
