Ihanda and Nkwenda are two wards (groups of villages) in northwest Tanzania’s Karagwe District. Ihanda consists of three villages with about 250 families; Nkwenda has five villages with about 300 families. Farmers in both rely on traditional cropping and livestock keeping.
