The Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa (AFSA) is pleased to announce a call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified consultants to undertake a critical study on integrating agroecology within the Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) across Africa.

This study aims to demonstrate the potential of agroecology as a climate solution, advocating for its integration into NAPs and NDCs. The findings will support AFSA’s ongoing campaign on Agroecology for Climate Action, aimed at promoting sustainable development and climate resilience in Africa.

Consultants will be tasked with gathering evidence on agroecology’s impact on climate adaptation and mitigation, analyzing its current integration in policy spaces, and developing policy recommendations.

How to Apply:
Interested consultants should submit their proposals by 13th September 2024 to afsa@afsafrica.org, with the subject line “Agroecology in NDCs & NAPs Study.”

Proposals should include a letter of interest, profile, methodology, work plan, and budget.
