The Alliance for Food Sovereignty in Africa (AFSA) invites expressions of interest for the Midterm Evaluation of the Transforming African Food Systems to Sustainability (TAFS) project. The evaluation aims to assess progress across all four TAFS outcomes, validate reported achievements, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen implementation for the remaining period. The assignment will be carried out over 45 workdays and shall not exceed 20th November 2025 to complete.
Interested candidates are invited to submit an application including: a short reflection (maximum 4 pages) describing your technical understanding of the assignment, methodology, and timeline; a financial proposal (budget) detailing costs in US dollars including taxes; detailed CV for each team member and role on the assignment; and examples of similar work carried out. The consultant or team of consultants must have a minimum of 7 years’ experience in programme evaluation, strong knowledge of African food systems and cross-border trade frameworks, and fluency in both French and English (at least one team member must speak both)
